Department Profile

The mission of the Enterprise Security Platform (ESP) team is to implement the Firm's Cybersecurity Strategy by architecting, engineering, deploying and operating technical security controls and capabilities for the Enterprise. This is achieved by continued focus on architectural rigor, automation, agile delivery and adoption of ESP's control implementations by our users and partners.

The Data Protection fleet design, engineer and operate solutions that secure data at rest and in transit, escalating inappropriate usage of the Firm's data to incident responders. The implementation of a new Data Discovery squad has presented an opportunity to join a growing team implementing a complex, cutting edge platform.

Role Profile

- You will be part of an emerging, dynamic team which is core to the firm-s data protection strategy

- You are bright and have a strong work ethic, with experience working in an agile environment

- You will have strong analytical and problem solving abilities, coupled with excellent development, communication, and organisational skills

- You will work primarily as a Scrum Master, as part of a collaborative, agile platform integration team. Though the work will primarily be delivery management, there is plenty of scope to take an active part in product strategy and stakeholder management throughout the architecture, design, build and implementation of a new cloud security platform

- You will be required to liaise directly with a variety of stakeholders throughout the firm

- You will develop functionality in an iterative fashion, liaising with product owners, engineers, developers and DBAs across the technology organization.

- You will be responsible for continuously improving the quality of our technology solutions, through a range of methods including peer review, retrospectives and refactoring as required.

- Excellent knowledge of Agile practices

- Experience of forming and supporting the ongoing development of Agile squads

- Experience of delivering innovative technology solutions in complex environments

- Ability to collaborate across squad and stakeholder groups, to address challenges and roadblocks

- Experience of developing and sustaining relationships with a range of stakeholders, of all organisational and technical levels.

Skills desired

- Very strong communication skills

- Experience of identifying and developing metrics

- Strong reporting skills

- Familiarity with a range of OS/DB/Cloud/Development technologies

- Experience working in a large, multi-national enterprise in any industry vertical, showing experience of communicating and collaborating in global distributed team
