This is an exciting opportunity in Darlington for an Aftertreatment Calibration Engineer.
Cummins England is where you can work on industry leading engineering projects such as being involved in reducing diesel engine emissions on large engines worldwide.
Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
Being involved in project across globe reducing Diesel engine emissions
Develop aftertretment calibration in test cell to meet emission design target.
Characterize diesel aftertreatment catalyst DOC, DPF and SCR
Run all testing required to complete calibration engineering standard work and document results.
Tune OBD for aftertreatment components.
Validate aftertretment performance on all ambient condition in Cold, Hot and Altitude in test facility and real world.
Skills and Experience Required:
Good understanding of Diesel engine powertrain system
Knowledge and understanding of Diesel Aftertreatment operation
Experience or keen to learn automotive software calibration tools and data analysing tool.
Experience or keen to learn AVL Puma Test cell testing.
Good communication skills
Required Education, Licenses or Certifications
Engineering Degree to BEng/BSc or higher, ideally with Automotive, Mechanical or similar relevant disciplines
Experience required in a similar environment
Compensation and Benefits
£ 28,000 - £35,200
