Whether we are delivering flood risk projects that enhance the natural environment or developing energy-efficient treatment processes and smart water networks around the world, this is our focus. Managing the water cycle across whole catchments, the scope of our services includes water and wastewater treatment, water infrastructure and flood and coastal erosion risk management.

The Talent Acquisition team are hosting a virtual careers fair on Thursday 2nd April 2020, giving you the opportunity to speak to the Water, Ports and Power hiring managers directly. The team workload ranges from feasibility studies to detailed designs, working with a variety of clients both from the public and private sector.

Severn Trent Water Framework – Delivering a large portfolio of infrastructure and / or non-infrastructure water utilities projects.

Caledonia Water Alliance - From program and commercial management to engineering design and construction, Caledonia Water Alliance, a partnership between Morrison Utility Services and AECOM, is designing and delivering the rehabilitation and replacement of Scotland’s entire national water network, working as part of Scottish Water’s infrastructure alliance.

*

Tunnelling projects such as Thames Tideway and London Power Tunnels.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum requirements

We would like to hear from candidates who are able to offer experience and proficiency in two or more of the key areas;

*

Clean water networks, pump stations, reservoirs and treatment work design.

*

Waste water networks including gravity systems, rising mains and treatment works design.

*

Flood modelling, and drainage strategy design including SuDs.

*

Delivering detailed outlines and designs of portable water infrastructure.

*

Experience in the full cycle of project design delivery from inception to detailed design.

*

Project Management and the successful commercial delivery of projects, including financial accountability, risk mitigation, programme management and change control.

*

Design of tunnelling projects in one or more of the following sectors: road, rail, metros, water supply, sewage, gas or cable tunnels, preferably with a detailed understanding of design for tunnel and shaft linings.

*

Experience in using any of the following software packages: InfoWorks/MicroDrainage/EPANET/3D Finite Element/LUSAS 3D/PLAXIS 3D/

Qualifications

Your experience will be the primary aspect that we will consider, however your educational background could be via various routes: BEng (Civil or Structural) HNC/HND or further post-graduate qualifications.

For some of our roles we will be looking for people to be working towards being chartered with a relevant institution (e.g ICE or CIWEM)
