�GENERAL SUMMARYProvides value to the field practices in the area of positioning and selling EMC?s flexible consumption acquisition models, strategy offerings and delivery capability.� Work extensively with EMC sales teams and delivery teams and end customer to coordinate and conduct the delivery of the consumption solutions.� Participates in the value proposition development process for prospective clients to include requests for information, proposal and presentation development, as well as developing and maintaining sales content for use in business development activities. Supports the development of value propositions to include; creating content and graphical concepts and ensuring that all projects meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality. Work on problems and possess great communication skills that are complemented by presence and judgment. ��PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES�� Guides field sales to effectively position flexible consumption solutions and provide overall governance review and approval for new business opportunities.� Liaison to support the review and make recommendations to approve binding contracts with partners and customers. �� Provide support to sales efforts by incorporating both client-related and operational support. Helps to develop cost models, manages change control process, oversees, coordinates and finalizes proposal content. Participates in client proposal presentations.��� Ensure EMC's value proposition meets the customer's requirement and can be delivered within the proposed scope. Responsible for and participates in responses to clients�Maintain assigned pursuit in deal tracking tool to provide Management with insight into pursuit progression and next steps and resources required. �� Liaison to Engineering, Sales, Delivery and Legal to ensure valid proposed solutions. May participate in the business unit's lead qualification process by working with the Sales lead and pursuit team lead throughout the process. �� Participate in account and/industry analysis, problem resolution, and communications between client, Sales and EMC management.� �Participates in Sales support and offering development projects and process optimization development as needed. �EXPERIENCE�� Experience in Sales of Technology, Leasing or Technical Pre-Sales �� Experience in Overlay Sales�� Account planning and strategy �� Travel required (20%+) �SKILLS�� Proposal writing skills. �� Communication skills. �� Financial and analytical experience. �� Ability to prioritize projects and deliverables. �� Ability to work independently. �� Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions. �� Problem solving skills. �� Understand industry trends. �� Understanding of business environment.
