About the role

We are looking for ambitious Account Managers to join the growing Desk based Sales Team at Virgin Media Business.

You will be based in our vibrant Manchester office; you will own your own portfolio of customers and supported to proactively manage your base through upselling, cross-selling and having business-led conversations. Key Accountabilities

• To pro-actively engage with customers in defined account bases with a view to growing revenue.
• To discuss strategic initiatives with a variety of customers and prospects.
• Identify whitespace opportunity for Data, Voice, Mobility, LAN & Security and work with our internal specialist teams, and external partners to drive opportunity in this space.
• To drive large scale opportunities that deliver value to all customers.
• To visit customers as needed and when relevant to establish and build meaningful relationships to deliver value.
• To respond to tenders effectively by engaging internal stakeholder specialists as necessary
• Forecast accurately and build effective initiatives on TCV, revenue impact, Churn, NPS and management of WIP.
• Respond to inbound enquiries as and when necessary.

• An individual who works collaboratively across a broader team and interacts with internal teams across the business.

• The ability to understand and articulate VMB’s product portfolio on a value, technical and commercial basis, turning a complex set of voice, data and Internet services into tangible benefit to our customers
• Demonstrable experience in a sales based (desirable although not essential), customer facing environment with a willingness and ability to learn
• The ideal candidate would be educated to degree level (or equivalent), have an eye for detail and a drive to succeed
