Most industrial designers possess arts, design or product design degrees. Postgraduate qualifications can be helpful for graduates from other relevant disciplines and for job opportunities within specialise market sectors. Gaining experience through work experience placements, industrial placements and design competitions in your final year at university is highly advantageous.
